you are my tomorrow

sleep doesn't wait for me so I lay here in wait- and can it be that we could be? so that tears could flood our pain I need to know  that in the hollows that there's an end in sight as I blindly wonder through the night with my eyes wide open and yet it's so hard to see  but it's this trust that keeps me moving through time just knowing that you are my tomorrow

My eyes pull against taupe walls by the seethe of street light that collects over the curtain rails. While I'm looking at the livid arch of light that stockades my sleeplessness.  The predictability of my consciousness neither a comfort nor guide, as I wait for the chimera of sleep.  And it's the memory of you, and the dream, that allows me to let go, and drift into our surety.

The Beach

Falling,  my hands are stretched out for you and I said that I'm drowning and I don't know what else to say what name should I call you as I fall down this vortex and it pulls me in further and the winds above rage  as the demons call while I fiend for you the gyre widens and the helix moves further abrupt  and although I can't remember what we never had your voice is still there so; I ask one last thing of you don't let me go.
